I'm Austin Christensen. I live in Salt Lake City, where I build software and ship products.

I'm a full-stack software engineer with a decade of experience building web applications at scale. I work across large enterprise systems and my own software products.

Outside of my day job, I build and ship my own software products. I founded Smart Locker USA, a SaaS platform for meat processors that I grew and sold. These days I'm focused on Backcountry Hunter, a gear management app for hunters and backcountry athletes, and Points Mafia, a newsletter and toolset for travel rewards enthusiasts.

My stack of choice is TypeScript, Next.js, React, and Supabase -- I lean toward managed services and clean architecture that lets small teams move fast without incurring technical debt they can't pay back.

When I'm not at a keyboard, I'm usually on skis in the Wasatch, on a bike, or on a tennis court. Salt Lake City is a good place to be if you want to keep that balance.
